Who are we ?
Westside Anglican Church (WAC) is an extension of
St Andrew’s Cathedral.
It was formed when two of the Anglican extension centers
(Jurong Christian Center and
Bukit Batok Christian
Center) combined in May 2000 to worship at GV
Theatre/Oasis Room at Jurong Point.
In October 2003, we moved to the German Centre located
in the International Business Park. This move enables us
to have the premises for the whole day on Sunday for
extended activities in the various ministries such as
the children’s church & youth fellowship.
Our mission is to build strong families based on godly
values that will impact households in the western side
of Singapore with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Currently
many families are experiencing stress in areas such as
finance, career, relationships, children’s education,
just to name a few. We believe that with Godly
principles, we can build strong families based on love,
trust and understanding for one another. We will then
realize our purpose in life and receive God’s blessings
so that we can bless others.
In WAC, we have children, youth, young adults and adult
ministries. The objective of each of these ministries is
to help our members develop their God-given talents,
build friendships, and to encourage one another. There
is on-going training to develop leadership skills and
Godly character in our members.
