Reaching Out to the Heart-Landers

The eleven disciples, a small church, succeeded in bringing the Gospel to almost every nation on the earth. And the march of those eleven men goes on today! Do you want to be a part of this move of God and commit yourself to this life-changing task?

In Singapore, more than half of the population lives in the heartlands. With the rising cost of living, many are anxious about bread and butter issues. Common social problems in the heart-land include senior citizens who live alone and latch key children who fall prey to gangs. How can we play our part in reaching out to the heart-landers with love and share with them the gospel of hope and peace?
This course will help you develop the alertness of mind and the passion for sharing God's love with the non-believers. In the 4 sessions you will learn how to:
• Prepare your Heart.
• Position your Witnessing.
• Present the Gospel.
• Penetrate the Community.

Besides the classroom teaching and small groups’ learning, participants will also be sent on a ‘mission trip’ to speak to the heart-landers.

About the Speaker

Rev Foo Chee Meng is the Vicar of Holy Trinity Church. Through the establishing of the community service in one of the housing estates, the Church has made in-roads to the neighborhood in recent years. Church members have begun to discover the many opportunities to bear witness and to share the Gospel in the community. Rev Foo’s vision is to see the community being transformed by the love of God through His people. He is married to Sook Fong, and they have two grown up children, Andrew and Grace.
