Listening to God
8/7 & 15/7 (2 Tues, 7.30 pm @ NT Hall)
Bishop Robert Solomon
God is depicted in the Bible as One who speaks and communicates with us.
Listening to Him is a discipline that is central to our relationship with Him,
and yet spiritual listening seems to be a lost art among Christians. How can we
rediscover this lost gift so that we can draw closer to God?
In this seminar, we will examine questions such as: How does God speak to us
today? How can we differentiate God’s Voice from other voices? How can we deal
with the “impressions” that arise within us? How can we listen individually and
as a community? What spiritual disciplines will help us to listen to God,
especially in our hurried and noisy world?
