“God’s Love Alive in You” “This is love…… walk in it.”
Getting along with some people can be tough. How can we
maintain a passionate love for God and for other people?
What does authentic love look like in the Church and in
the workplace? How can we mend relationships with people
who have hurt us (or people whom we have hurt)?
These letters highlight God’s amazing love and reveal the
secrets of nurturing vital, up-to-date relationships with
God and with the people He brings into our lives.
“Finding Hope When Life Seems Dark” Study of Hosea,

Aug
Course Workbook: $13/-
When natural disasters strike, when good people suffer and
those who do wrong seem to go unpunished, when life takes
an unexpected turn for the worse, you might be tempted to
wonder…. Where is God, and what is He up to? Will my
circumstances ever improve? Will justice eventually win
out?
These five prophetic books from the Old Testament reveal
that God’s people have often struggled with similar
questions. In this hands-on study, you’ll discover the
source of a hope that can sustain you through life’s
darkest times and point you toward the bright future God
has in store for His people.
Difference between Precept Upon Precept (PUP) and New
Inductive Study Series (NISS) The New
Inductive Study Series (NISS) surveys all the books in the
entire bible. The whole series comprise a total of 31
books. Each book in the series covers several books of the
bible (e.g. Ezra/Nehemiah/Esther), using the Precept
method of observation through markings and listings, with
some light cross-referencing. Each lesson requires about
2-3 hours of homework per week. At the end of each lesson,
there is a list of reflection/discussion questions
followed by a lesson summary. After completing the
homework, the study group comes together for 2 hours of
discussion.
Unlike the NISS which surveys books in the Bible, the
PUP series is Precept's most in-depth study series and
covers mainly books of the Bible with some topical
studies. Each lesson requires about 5 hours of homework
per week. After completing the homework, the study group
comes together for 1 hour of discussion and up to 1 hour
of lecture by DVD. The student will spend much time in
their homework observing the scripture text under study,
looking at several cross-references, working on open-ended
questions, and doing word study when required.
