SAC Christian Education Programme seeks to provide a holistic and integrated approach to building faith, transforming lives and equipping for ministry. It is concerned with the cognitive (knowing), affective (being) and skill (doing) development of the total person. It provides training in areas which are part of the lifelong discipleship of every believer:

• Spiritual Formation & Christian Life

• Biblical Foundation

• Marketplace & Public Square

• Ministry & Leadership Development

In 2012, we continue to offer courses aimed at shaping our vocational calling and Christian witness. The Biblical Studies and Inductive Bible Study Track (IBST) are in place to encourage SAC members to be rooted in the word of God and to be Bible literate.

Our aim is to “prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ” (Eph 4:12, 13). Besides strenthening the biblical foundation and faith of individual believers, the
courses aim to build community life and to equip the laity for service and ministry in SAC, in the Diocese, in Singapore and beyond.

I thank God for the many teachers who make sacrifices of time to share with us from their rich experience and wisdom. May I encourage every leader and every member in SAC to make the best of these opportunities to grow in spiritual maturity and I believe our God will bless us richly through these opportunities for equipping and edification.
