Cathedral Lenten Devotions
LIGHT
& LOVE IN THE CROSS
3/4 Tues & 4/4 Wed (7:30pm – 9pm)
@ the
Nave, St Andrew's Cathedral
Revd Dr Mark Chan
The
Cross of Christ is central to God’s redemptive reclamation of a
world that has gone horribly wrong. It is at the same time a
revelation of the human condition and the divine intention. The
betrayal, trial and execution of our Lord throw light on the deep
shadows of rebelliousness that lurk within the human heart. The
crucifixion of Jesus Christ expresses most eloquently God’s
intense love for fallen humanity. These Lenten talks invite us to
take an honest look at the sinful propensity of our hearts and
appreciate afresh the glory of God’s love manifested on Calvary.
