2008
We are grateful that PKH's Memorandum of Understanding
with Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International
Co-operation has been extended for another 3 years from 3rd
January 2008. This will allow us to continue our skills
development and healthcare work in Chbamorn and Aoral in
Kompong Speu province,Cambodia.
PKH Skills Development
This year, the student enrolment at the PKH Anglican
Centre is 120 youths. A ladies hostel has also been added to

consultations and medicines) on a weekly basis at 3
health-posts in Aoral. This is a very remote and poor district
which does not have the services of a resident doctor.
Seeds of Hope Childcare
PKH continues to work in partnership with another NGO,
Full Gospel Assembly Cambodia to provide a safe and happy home
for 120 orphans, street children and poor village children in
Kampong Speu. PKH supports 40 of these children. They are
educated in the public schools and receive tuition in the
orphanage where they are housed.

the day to day operations at the PKH Centre:

We invite you to be our partners in support and prayers, as we
shore up our efforts in helping the Cambodians rebuild their
lives and in a small way, extending hope to their futures.
Thanksgiving for 2007
The mission house for medical relief work in Aoral, a remote
village in Kompong Speu province, has been completed. We are
thankful that the sick in the village would be able to get
more regular medical
attention as the medical team led by Dr Bun Rong could stay
for longer stretches of time.
We would like to thank Yvonne Chew (Centre Director) and Khoo
Ming Ghee (Head of English) for their services to the Centre
in the past few years, and wish them all the best as they
enter new phases of
their lives. We welcome Choo Beng Geok as the new Head of
English.
We also wish to extend our gratitude to the many volunteers
and visitors who blessed the Centre's staff and students with
their presence and gifts in the past year.
