PKH Charity Golf Tournament

Held on 19 October 2007 at Sembawang Country Club

About 118 golfers turned up at Sembawang Country Club, eagerly waiting for the tournament to start after lunch that Friday. The skies looked dismally grey, and then raindrops came – first, in a little patter and turned into a torrent. It looked as if the tournament was not going to take off at one point. But when the sun peered through the clouds just after 2 pm, the golfers led by former Bishop John Tan took to the greens and had an enjoyable time in the cool weather that continued throughout the afternoon.

A sumptuous dinner rounded up the day’s activities, with the golfers and guests treated to a video-clip on PKH’s latest activities. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, many left for home that evening armed with prizes for their good play and from the “lucky” draw.
