There's Nothing He
Can't Do

My God is so big, so strong
and so mighty. There’s nothing my God cannot do!
The months between ‘A’
Levels and entering university have been both exciting and trying
times. The excitement came in knowing I could do anything I wanted
because there was no school for me. Those months were also filled
with anxious moments as I busied myself with university
applications. Not only were there interviews to attend, but also
months of not knowing where I would end up as I anxiously awaited
the results of my applications. Through these times, God has been
reminding me, through friends and family, to commit all my cares to
Him. A commitment to Jesus is surrendering everything that you are
and have. It is faithfulness in times of temptation, in times of
trial, in times of business, even in times when you don’t know
what’s coming up ahead.
It was really God’s work when he gave me many chances through those
months to work with children. Through those months, God has placed a
desire in me to share His love with others. Now that I’m in
university, training to be a teacher, I thank God that He has so
lovingly poured out His grace, holding my hand walking through
life’s ups and downs. Though not all is certain about my future, I
feel comforted in knowing that I can pour out my cares on Him
because he loves me and He’ll bring me through tough times. Fear
not, because God is greater than any of our trials and worries!
Remember the song: “My God is so big, so strong and so mighty.
There’s nothing my God cannot do!”
