Befrienders’ Club

Befrienders’ Club is a programme from C.I.T.Y. Community Services for school children with needs. Some of the children do not have anyone at home when they return home after school. Befrienders’ Club then provides them an environment where they can do their homework, get help with their school work, play games and even build long-lasting relationships with Befrienders’ Club volunteers.

Befrienders’ Club is one way where we can reach out to these children through the friendships we have built. Although these students often portray a tough façade which can prove to be very challenging for volunteers to get to know them, we can sense that underneath their "tough" attitudes are vulnerable child that need our love and attention.
