Cell Ministry

What is a cell?
It is not a prison cell! A cell is a group of youths coming together to discuss Bible topics and support one another in prayer and encouragement. The word "cell" comes from the cell of living organisms which multiply and grow.

What is the purpose of cells?
Like the cells of living organisms, the purpose of cell ministry is for spiritual and numerical growth. In a cell, youths can learn from one another through discussing issues about the Christian faith and life. Youths can also pray and encourage one another. Cells also serve as an avenue for Christian youths to bring their friends and have fellowship and know more about God. The purpose of cells can be summed up in the acronym -
FEED:

  • F - Fun, learning to have good, wholesome fun with one another

  • E - Equipping, learning to be equipped with the Word of God for every good work (2 Tim 3:17)

  • E - Edification, learning to edify and encourage one another

  • D - Doing, learning to do what we have learned from the Word of God (James 1:22)

When and where are the cells conducted?
Cell meetings are conducted during LYnC meetings (every Sat 3 - 5 pm at Prayer Hall A-B). They are usually conducted the week after a sermon has been preached at LYnC youth meetings. Check our schedule.

How can I join a cell?
