This is a SEL programme that helps students realise their potential by understanding that there are ‘no limits’ to what they can achieve if they proactively apply themselves in real life. This is done through experiential-based learning where students are encouraged to discover the value and importance of appropriate behaviours and attitudes. They are also empowered to make healthy decisions and take responsibility for their own lives. Through this, students develop a healthy respect for themselves and others, their schools and their community.

VITAL aims to have students translate what they have learnt and apply it in their community and become useful citizens of the country.

Using the VITAL framework and operating structure, there are two programmes developed specifically to suit appropriate age groups:

(a) Unlimited – this programme is conducted over 8 sessions and suitable for P5 students

(b) No Limits – this programme is conducted over 9 sessions and suitable for P6 students.

Generally, both programmes have the same objectives, the main difference is the age-appropriate approaches towards achieving the objectives.
