worship and service, Christian growth, fellowship and
fulfillment of the Great Commission.If you are

Bridges
- Worship Ministry
 |
The
Worship Team of the 9.00am
English Service of St Andrew's
Cathedral, Singapore - is
called Bridges firstly because
Jesus is the ultimate bridge
between God and man. The
outstanding red character
in the Bridges logo resembles
the Chinese word for "lamb"
and reminds us of Jesus,
the Lamb of God. Secondly,
the red character in the
logo also resembles a man,
raising his arms in worship.
That is our desire: to be
bridges by bringing man
to God through worship.
There
are currently two teams
in the Bridges, namely,
Bridge of Faith and Bridge
of Judah which take turns
to lead worship each Sunday
at the 9.00am Service. As
one family in Christ, we
want to see Jesus lifted
high and our one-and-end
purpose is to glorify God
as we offer Him our voices
and our lives in passionate,
Spirit-filled and prophetic
worship. Join us in exalting
our King of Kings and Lord
of Lords!

Special
Interest Ministries |
|
Cell
Groups
|
The
cell group provides a conducive
environment for members to
learn more about God, the
Bible and how to grow stronger
in our walk with the Lord.
Members also provide prayer
support to one another and
reach out to others.
The
9.00 am service has more
than 15 cell groups to-date
and they meet in the homes
of various members throughout
Singapore.

Sunday
School Ministry
 
|
The
9.00 am Sunday School provides
ministry for children from
3 to 14 years old. Our goal
is to help the children discover
Jesus in a personal way. We
want them to grow up knowing
that Christianity isn’t just
about going to church on Sunday
mornings, but is an exciting
relationship with the living
God that impacts our lives
everyday.
Every Sunday, except for the
first Sunday of the month,
when the Sunday School has
its own children’s worship,
the children join the congregation
during praise and worship
and go to their various classes
before the sermon. On the
last Sunday of the month,
Friendship Sunday, the children
join their parents in the
main service. It is our hope
that, while the children experience
a meaningful time of worship
with their parents, we are
providing for them, a smooth
transition into the main service
as they grow into adulthood.
Another
goal of our Sunday School
is to nurture the children
to function as part of the
larger Body of Christ. As
such, we create opportunities
for the children to serve
in various ministries in
the church, namely, lesson
reading, ushering and worship.
For the 15 to 16yr old youths
who have graduated from
Sunday School, many commit
themselves to serve as teacher
aides in the Nursery class.
It
is our prayer that each
one of our Sunday School
children will continue
to grow in their walk
with Christ as they discover
for themselves the love
and joy of knowing our
Lord Jesus Christ. |
